Nokia has released their new Windows smartphone to the public the new Nokia Lumia 928. It is scheduled to be released this May 2013. The display for the new Nokia Lumia 928 is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and PureMotion HD+ ClearBlack display. It will come in Black, White and only 4.5 inches in size. Nokia’s using the same PureMotion HD+ screen tech in the 928, so the only major difference you’ll note between this and the 920 is the brightness and vividness of its 4.5-inch, Gorilla Glass 2-coated window to WP8. That’s due to the OLED display employed here; a change from the 920′s LCD. A slight washout becomes apparent at a 15-degree tilt, but viewing angles remain excellent.
The main camera for Nokia Lumia 928 is 8 MP with Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, autofocus, xenon flash and a 1.2 MP secondary camera in front. The camera features 1/3.2” sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel size, PureView technology, geo-tagging, panorama. The Xenon flash lies just to the left of this, contained in a significantly elongated ellipse of its own that accurately conveys just how potent its powers of illumination are. At the base and just above the speaker grille, Verizon’s left the branding to a minimum, etching in only its 4G LTE logo. Nokia Lumia 928 will run on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 and powered by Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor.
The internal storage for Nokia Lumia 928 is 32 GB, 1 GB RAM and it doesn’t support card slot for extra memory. Capacitive keys for navigation and a lone mic border the bottom edge of the screen, while logos for Nokia and Verizon sit up top, flanking the earpiece and 1.2-megapixel camera. And, in a move that hearkens back to the original 900, the micro-USB port resides on the top edge, smack dab between a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSIM slot on the left and a secondary mic on the right.
