The new Sony Xperia Z is announced this week and it is scheduled to be released this March 2013. It got a lot of name such as Sony Xperia C6603, Sony Xperia C6602, Sony Xperia Z LTE and Sony Xperia Z HSPA+. The display for Sony Xperia Z is TFT capacitive touchscreen with Shatter proof and scratch-resistant glass, Timescape UI and Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. It will come in Black, White, Purple and only 5.0 inches in size. The new Sony Xperia Z is the ultimate smartphone for those who have an active life style since its dust, water resistant and Water proof up to 1 meter and 30 minutes. Another software addition is a new intelligent battery saver mode. This specific stamina mode will turn off any power-hungry apps (chosen either automatically by the phone, or by a user-made list) when the screen is switched off. This means you can let your email or Twitter continue to receive pings but can shut down pretty much everything else. Sony’s making some bold claims about the improvements seen with the power management feature switched on, reckoning it’ll offer four times the standby time — although we’d prefer to put the Xperia Z’s 2,330mAh battery through some more realistic tests before coming to any conclusions.
The main camera for Sony Xperia Z is 13.1 MP with autofocus, LED flash and a 2.2 MP secondary camera at front. The camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilization, HDR and sweep panorama. It will run on Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and planned to upgrade to v4.2 (Jelly Bean) and powered by Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait Qualcomm MDM9215M / APQ8064 processor.
The internal storage for this android smartphone is 16 GB, 2 GB RAM and card slot microSD is expendable up to 32 GB. Now can bring more data on the go.
