Samsung just announced their new and improve Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 and it is scheduled to be released to the market this year 2013. The display for Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 is Capacitive touchscreen with Scratch-resistant glass and TouchWiz UI. It will come in Gray and 4.0 inches in size. The new Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 is its new ruggedized smartphone, with GPS and GLONASS pitching it directly at the adventurers among us. It’s water resistant up to a depth of one meter and can hold its breath for 30 minutes. It is the ultimate choice for user that have an active lifestyle. Samsung mentions that the Xcover 2 will also pack a Cardio trainer Pro workout app, although there doesn’t appear to be any hardware additions to augment the fitness program — aside from a strap holder
The main camera for Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 is 5 MP with autofocus, LED flash and a VGA type secondary camera at front. It will run on the new Android OS, v4.1 (Jelly Bean) and powered by Dual-core 1 GHz processor.
The internal storage for Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 is 4 GB storage, 1 GB RAM and a card slot microSD that support up to 32 GB extra memory.
