HTC announced a new smartphone and it is scheduled to be released this year 2013. It is quite interesting because when other big brands choose to release more powerful smartphone, HTC Desire U is more a budget smartphone with only single core processor that run on Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. HTC Desire U display is Super LCD capacitive touchscreen. It will come in White, Black, Orange and only 4.0 inches in size. As of now, there’s no word on when it’ll hit the streets in China and Taiwan or if a tweaked version with international-friendly radios will make its way to other countries.
The main camera for HTC Desire U is 5 MP with autofocus, LED flash and it doesn’t have any secondary camera at front. Just like it was promoted it will run on Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and powered by 1 GHz processor.
The internal storage for HTC Desire U is 4 GB storage, 512 MB RAM and card slot mircoSD support up to 32 GB.
