The first HTC smartphone for 2013. The new HTC One was announced last week and scheduled to be released to the public this March 2013. The display for HTC One is Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and HTC Sense UI v5. It will come in Black, Silver, Red and 4.7 inches in size.
Looking at the load of innovations HTC’s crammed into the One, it’s clear this is a handset for the social oversharing set. Even its front face alone tells that story. From the dual stereo speakers (featuring dedicated amps) surrounding the screen to the 2.1-megapixel camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens capable of 1080p video, to the simplified soft keys (one for back, one for home), to the IR blaster (integrated in the power button), to the default BlinkFeed homescreen (a Flipboard-like social feed); it’s safe to say, the One’s aggressively embracing the role of smartphone as multimedia powerhouse. And that’s just what it offers head-on.
The main camera for HTC One is 4 MP with autofocus, LED flash and a 2.1 MP secondary camera. The camera will features 1/3” sensor size, simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, OIS. It will run on Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and powered by Quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 processor.
The internal storage for this smartphone is available between 32/64 GB, 2 GB RAM and sadly it doesn’t support extra memory.
